I've got this cute little medicine cabinet with glass shelves in my bathroom. I am pretty sure it was installed when the house was built (1920) and I'm unsure if it has been painted since then. The other day it was particularly sunny in my bathroom and I noticed how yellow the inside of it looked. I considered wallpapering or using fabric inside it, and still might, but at the time I decided to just give the inside a fresh coat of paint.
My fireplace was already painted white when I moved in (thank goodness), but the inside of it was looking pretty rough. I cleaned the bricks but it still looked gross and dirty. So I grabbed some yellow paint and a roller and got to painting!
And before you tell me that I can never use my fireplace again because of the paint, you should know that I am terrified of using fireplaces. I'm so scared that my house will catch on fire, so I will never, ever make a fire in my fireplace.
In a moment of desperation I would probably freeze to death or just go and get in my car and warm myself up.
Here's the after!
